My mum once had an old chair exactly like this shape that belonged to her mother. It needed recovering and looked sad. If only I 'd have seen this photo earlier, we could have saved it with a black and white stripe and a box pleat skirt. Now I am on the lookout for another to make up for getting rid of it.
